Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection is a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of original pen on paper sketches from the hand of founder and Chief Designer Henrik Fisker, available via auction with a portion benefiting charitable causes. Our unique method of charitable contribution means every time a Fisker by Hand NFT is sold, environmental conservancy benefits. See below for additional information regarding distribution.

The first Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFT drop is available through an auction beginning Wednesday, December 22 at 5PM PST and ending 24 hours later. The second drop will be available through an auction beginning Wednesday, January 5th at 5PM PST and ending 24 hours later. See below for instructions on participating.

We chose to mint the Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFTs on the Solana blockchain according to our ESG goals. Solana is a proof-of-stake blockchain, an energy-efficient solution since each transaction takes less energy than two Google searches and 24 times less energy than charging your phone. It’s significantly more environmentally responsible than a proof-of-work blockchain. Further, we are investigating methods to offset our carbon emissions from these transactions.

The Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFT auction provides participants with an opportunity to partake in a charitable endeavor today, while in the future, NFT owners will enjoy exclusive invitations to bespoke events curated by Fisker.

The cryptocurrency and proof-of-stake blockchain we selected for the Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection series aligns with our brand pillars of design, innovation, and sustainability (see FAQ below: Are Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFTs environmentally responsible?).

Each Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFT symbolizes a specific pen on paper design inspiration from Henrik Fisker. Each NFT will be minted into one-time, small-batch, numbered groupings, maintaining scarcity and authenticity.

Fisker by Hand NFTs are available through an auction on the FTX.US marketplace here. To bid on a Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFT, create a wallet through the FTX.US website here. The auction currency is Solana cryptocurrency, available for purchase on the FTX.US website. You must have enough Solana cryptocurrency in your wallet to cover the desired amount of your bid.

The auction process determines the price of the NFT.

Fisker is donating 50% of the sale proceeds for its inaugural NFT auction to non-profit organizations supporting our ESG principles. In addition, 5.175% of subsequent sales of NFTs will benefit such causes, Fisker will retain 5.175% as a royalty, and 1.15% will offset carbon emissions.

After careful research and analysis, we chose to mint the Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFTs on the Solana blockchain. This is an energy-efficient solution since each transaction takes less energy than two Google searches and 24 times less energy than charging your phone.

The Solana blockchain is a proof-of-stake blockchain which utilizing significantly less energy than a proof-of-work blockchain such as Ethereum.

In addition to partnering with a responsible supplier, we are investigating methods to offset CO2 emissions.

Yes. Once purchased on the FTX.US NFT marketplace, the NFT can be listed for sale in the same marketplace or transferred to a personal crypto wallet and resold on another marketplace.

In the inaugural release, there will be a total of 100 Fisker by Hand: OCEAN Concept Collection NFTs.

For the inaugural release of the Fisker by Hand OCEAN Concept Collection NFTs, a total of 50 NFTs are available for auction. A subsequent release of the OCEAN Concept Collection will be available for auction totaling 100 NFTs organized into four tiers:

  • Ocean One: Limited to 1 Copy, 1 of 1

  • Extreme: Limited to 10 Copies

  • Ultra: Limited to 25 Copies

  • Sport: Limited to 64 Copies

Items are redeemable through the FTX.US site's built-in redeem feature. Redeeming an NFT will grant us your contact information for shipping the physical item. Once all items are redeemed, the NFT is no longer valid for redeeming tangible items but can still be digitally traded or sold.

Fisker plans on providing exclusive access for Fisker by Hand NFT holders to bespoke Fisker events, shows, and/or collaborations, as well as additional benefits still to come.
